Materials used
At Necrotech Prints, we use the finest machines and resins available! We used to pride ourselves on being the cheapest 3D printed store around. However, times have changed. We still believe we compete in the market for being reliably cost efficient, however, we now use much higher end machines to offer a more crisp, clear experience! Our resin printers print at a crsip 12k resolution. All infantry models are printed with a layer height of 0.03 Layer height, whilst all resin vehicles and scenery are printed at 0.05 Layer height.
We do also offer plastic printing on our store too, which is used for our some of our unique projects, buildings and some terrain.
Please note, the colours used by both our plastic an resin may vary. We always try and stick to more neutral colours such as grey/beige. However, we may not always be able to get our hands on these. As 3D printing has become more popular, stock can be harder to find sometimes. We order all our materials in large bulk due to our printing demands, so colours may vary. We also occasionally mix resin, but fear not, this causes no problems with the model's sturdyness or ability to be painted on. Example: If we have no grey resin, but we have black and white, we would rather mix our black and white to make a neutral grey than have such harsh specific colours.
Necrotech Prints started in 2021, originally, as a hobby. I purchased an Ender 3 PLA machine to, actually, print ant nests! Yes, ants. One hobby turned into another! I hadn't played tabletop games before, however i did take interest in them and thoroughly enjoyed the lore of things such as Dungeons and Dragons and Warhammer. After printing some custom tanks, i knew there would be a market! As a father to 2 daughters and working through the days, i started my own store! 3 years later, countless designers contacted, thousands of models sold, here we are, with the best machines available and the most unique models around!
