The Holy Roman Empire is an ancient body in a modern world, the von Trottas are one of its many defenses. An outgrowth of the Emperor's bodyguard, the family has cultivated an organization and a network of agents that it can call upon to keep its wards safe at all times.
This war started because that system failed. It will not happen again.
The heir to the family seat, Baron Franz von Trotta IV, now takes a more personal interest in the safety of the empire and the royal family, personally eliminating threats from extreme range with extreme prejudice. He stalks the battlefields of the Great War with his pseudodrachen Stefan, a gift from the young kaiser before the war, and before the coronation. Together, they bring death to the enemies of the Empire.
